1. The federal government is increasing its wage subsidy to small and medium-sized businesses from 10% to 75%, and will provide loans of $ 40,000 to businesses hard hit by COVID-19. The $ 40,000 loans will be offered through Canadian banks, but are guaranteed by the government. These amounts will be interest free for one year. More details will follow shortly.
